Industries We Work With
Transport fleets, bus and coach operators, crane and plant hire. Different pressures, different scheduling – same workshop.
A Repair Job Is Not Just a Repair Job
A prime mover off the road is lost freight revenue. A bus off the road is a service that does not run. A crane in the workshop is inventory earning nothing. The panel and paint work may look similar from the outside, but what each operator needs from a repairer – timing, sequencing, documentation, what gets prioritised – is completely different.
We have worked with all three from our Smithfield workshop since 1984. Below is how we approach each, so you can judge whether we understand your side of it before you call.
Three Industries, Three Approaches
Transport & Logistics
Realistic timeframes, prioritised scheduling across multiple units, pick-up and delivery, ongoing account arrangements.
ExploreBus & Coach Operators
Scheduling around timetables and bookings, accessibility equipment function-tested, livery matched across the fleet.
ExploreCrane & Plant Hire
Utilisation-aware quoting, structural work scoped for engineering sign-off, off-hire make-good and refresh.

What Downtime Actually Costs
For a transport operator it is a missed run or a subcontracted load. For a route bus it is a gap in the timetable and a roster reshuffle. For a hire company it is a machine off-hire. We quote and sequence against that, not against a first-in-first-out workshop queue.
What Has to Be Signed Off
A truck needs to sit within roadworthy tolerances. A bus needs exits, restraints and accessibility equipment function-tested and documented. A crane needs structural work scoped so it can be certified back into lifting service. Three different end points from the same panel shop.
What the Paint Has to Survive
Fleet livery on a bus has to match units parked beside it, often weathered rather than factory-fresh. Plant coatings have to survive dust, UV, hydraulic fluid and chemical contact. An automotive finish that looks excellent on delivery day is not the same specification.
Who We Are Talking To
Sometimes an owner-driver, sometimes a fleet manager approving against an internal process, sometimes a hire desk deciding whether a machine goes back out this week. We quote in a form that suits the decision being made.
What Every Operator Gets
Laser chassis and axle alignment rated for heavy vehicle geometry. Paint ovens sized for a prime mover cab or a full-length coach. PPG-authorised colour matching. In-house sheet metal fabrication and fibreglass repair for parts no longer available to order. Approved repairer status with all major insurers for commercial and heavy vehicle claims.
And an honest answer when a repair does not stack up economically, or when a machine should not go back into service yet.
Operating Across Western Sydney
Our workshop at 33–35 Chifley Street, Smithfield sits in the middle of Western Sydney’s industrial corridor. We work with operators across Fairfield, Wetherill Park, Prospect, Blacktown, Parramatta, Liverpool, Silverwater, Eastern Creek, Erskine Park, Moorebank, Greystanes and Yennora, and take work from across greater Sydney.
If a vehicle or machine cannot be driven or transported in safely, we arrange pick-up and delivery.
