Heavy Vehicle Smash Repairs Done Properly.

Trucks, buses, coaches and cranes — repaired in a Smithfield workshop built for heavy vehicles, not a car shop that takes them on as an afterthought. Family owned since 1984.

Who We Are

A Panel Shop Built for Heavy Vehicles, Not Cars

Max Smash Repairs has operated from our Smithfield workshop since 1984. Over four decades we’ve become one of the few panel and paint shops in Sydney genuinely equipped to repair trucks, buses, coaches and cranes at scale — laser chassis and axle alignment built for heavy vehicle geometry, a paint bay sized for a prime mover cab or full-length coach, and a team that works on this equipment daily rather than occasionally.

We work directly with transport and logistics operators, bus and coach companies, crane hire businesses and plant operators across Western Sydney — including long-standing relationships with Toll Global Logistics, Skell Hire and Komatsu Australia. We’re an approved repairer for all major insurance companies.

Get a Quote From Your Phone

Driving a damaged truck across Sydney for a quote costs you a driver and most of a day. Send us photos instead — upload up to 20 shots with the vehicle details and we’ll come back with a realistic estimate, or tell you honestly if we need to see it in person.

We’ll also tell you whether an insurance claim is worth it against your excess, rather than just quoting the job.

How It Works

From Damage to Back on the Road

1

Assessment

We inspect the vehicle, check structural and chassis geometry, and liaise with your insurer where relevant to confirm scope.

2

Itemised Quote

A clear quote separating panel, structural and paint work, with a realistic timeframe you can plan your fleet around.

3

Repair

Structural correction first, then panel and paint — using laser alignment, PPG-authorised colour matching and heavy-vehicle paint ovens.

4

Quality & Compliance Check

Geometry re-measured, lighting and safety markings confirmed, passenger or load-bearing equipment function-tested.

5

Handover

Returned or delivered back to you, genuinely ready for service — not just ready to look at.
