Crane & Plant Hire Fleets

A machine in the workshop is inventory earning nothing. We quote and schedule with utilisation in mind.

The Problem

Most Repairers Will Not Touch This Work

Three practical reasons. The machine physically will not fit through most workshop doors, and cannot be supported safely once inside. The coatings are different — a machine working in dust, UV, hydraulic fluid and chemical contact needs a system specified for that, not an automotive finish that chalks within a season. And most significantly, the structural liability: repairing a boom, outrigger or ROPS structure is a decision about whether that machine can carry load again with people working around it.

We are set up for the size, we specify coatings for on-site wear, and we scope structural work with engineering certification factored in from the start rather than discovered at the end. We work with Skell Hire and Komatsu Australia among other Sydney hire and plant operators.

Hire Fleet Reality

We Understand the Utilisation Maths

Cosmetic vs Structural — an Honest Call

Sometimes a tidy-up gets a machine back on hire this week and the full restoration can wait for a quiet period. Sometimes it genuinely should not go back out until structural work is done. We will tell you which situation you are in rather than quoting the bigger job by default.

Off-Hire Inspection Damage

The damage a hirer disputes, or does not mention. We can assess and quote quickly so you have a figure to work with while the conversation is still live.

End-of-Lease Make-Good

Returning machines to a contracted condition standard, quoted against the specific make-good requirements rather than a general repair scope.

Refresh Between Hires

Repaint and presentation work that keeps a machine winning hires against newer equipment. Scheduled into your quiet weeks rather than your busy ones.

Fleet Repaints and Rebrands

Colour-matched across a mixed-age fleet, so a ten-year-old machine and a new arrival look like they belong to the same business.

Certification

Structural Work and Engineering Sign-Off

Structural repairs to a crane or lifting equipment typically need sign-off by a qualified structural engineer before the machine returns to load-bearing service. That is not a formality to work around — it is the point of the exercise.

We factor certification requirements into how we scope and quote from the first assessment, and can work alongside your business’s own engineering sign-off process or preferred certifier. Where a repair affects a load chart plate, capacity decal or other compliance signage, we reinstate it correctly as part of the job. A crane is not ready to work again just because it looks whole.

Equipment

What We Repair for Hire Fleets

Mobile and Franna-style cranes, excavators and earthmoving equipment, wheel loaders, skid steers and telehandlers, elevated work platforms and scissor lifts, and static site plant including generators, compressors and crushers.

Structural and chassis repairs, boom, jib and outrigger work, operator cabin repairs, heavy-duty repaint systems, corrosion and rust remediation, and custom fabrication where a guard, panel or fitting simply is not available to order.

Logistics

Getting the Machine to Us

Plant equipment is rarely convenient to move. Talk to us about pick-up and delivery — we service Fairfield, Wetherill Park, Prospect, Blacktown, Parramatta, Liverpool, Silverwater, Eastern Creek, Erskine Park, Moorebank and the greater Sydney region.

If you are not sure whether something is worth repairing at all, send photos through the online assessment. We would rather tell you honestly that the economics do not stack up than start work on a machine that should be written off.
